About Dr. Natalie Marie Perez
PSYCH ASSOCIATE
Dr. Perez received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Rosemead School of Psychology at Biola University in Southern California. Dr. Perez integrates a variety of evidenced-based treatments and operates from attachment-based and relational psychodynamic frameworks that supplement her specialized training in the Pia Mellody model, EMDR, EFT, and Somatic Experiencing.
Dr. Perez has treated clients and patients in a variety of capacities, both outpatient and inpatient, within Los Angeles, Orange County, Chicago, and San Francisco Bay areas. She completed her postdoctoral residency in Adult Psychiatry with Kaiser Permanente.
She has additional training in Christian Theology and psychotherapy to support those whose faith may be an integral part of their personhood and for others who may be struggling with a history of spiritual abuse or trauma. Due to Dr. Perez’s own personal journey, she has a focalized interest in treating complex trauma rooted in developmental trauma, codependency, narcissistic abuse, and dysfunctional, toxic, or love-addicted relationships that may be causing symptoms of depression, anxiety, PTSD, or obsessive-compulsive, avoidant, or dependent behaviors.
